My older child attended St. Mary's from 5 to 6th grade and now attends public school because St. Mary's currently only goes up to 6th grade. Last year when my daughter was attending the public school, I had a teacher call me one afternoon just to tell me how much she enjoyed having my daughter in class, she went on for about 5 minutes of praiseing her. I was kind of waiting for "however such and such has not been turned in or something to that affect". It never did. This teacher just took time out of her busy day to let me know what a great student she is. I attribute much of this to the respect, dedication, and spiritual guidance she received at St. Mary's Catholic School here in Pine City, MN.
